A Smyrna man has been charged with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence of drugs, and other offenses following a fatal car crash. Lynn Mctier, 66, was arrested for his involvement in the May 15 crash that resulted in the death of 54-year-old Crystal Norris. The incident occurred on Cobb Parkway when Mctier, driving a Lexus LS, crossed into the northbound lanes, collided with two other vehicles, and then struck Norris on the sidewalk. Mctier is now facing charges including vehicular homicide, reckless driving, DUI-drugs, and driving on a suspended license, among others. The arrest was made based on evidence obtained from video footage provided by local transportation authorities.
