Sean Rainwater from Acworth “Just bring a buc-ees to paulding!”
Hope Moore from Dallas “Meh. I think there are good things in both of those towns depending on the cuisine you’re seeking. Is steak like Bones in ATL, well no, but if I want to spend $300+ on dinner I go to Atlanta proper.
For casual dinners, there are plenty of decent options. Or you could always move since you’re not a tree. “
Joyce Holmes from Hiram “In my opinion we did not ask for everyone to move here in the first place and when y'all did you brought this crap with you so if you like it move back to where you came from.”
Christopher Lee Byrd from Rockmart “You could…eat at home?”
From the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page:
They posted “Sergeant Clint Barker of our Courthouse Security Division (a proud Auburn Tiger football fan) and Superior Court Judge Dean Bucci (a proud Georgia Bulldog football fan) decided to place a "friendly wager" on the teams' football game this past weekend.
On the way in to work this morning, Sergeant Barker could not wait to show Judge Bucci the poster he made. Rumor has it, Sergeant Barker even has his poster proudly displayed in his office.”
Others commented:
Sarah Marion Hitchcock from Atlanta “I love this “
Reece Brown from Dallas “Bless Barker!! I hope maybe he will learn better.”
Andrea Pearson from Rockmart “We Sgt Barker!! Go Dawgs “
Dana Greene from Dallas “Looking good Barker.”
From the What’s Happening in Paulding County Facebook page:
Heather Gretsinger from Atlanta “PSA: Not everyone drives a car with a back-up camera. I know how to drive and use my mirrors, but seriously, why do people think it’s ok to just walk right behind my car when I am backing up? This has been happening more and more lately. Please, when you are in a parking lot , pay attention to your surroundings!!”
These are your responses from actual Paulding County citizens - as reported on What's Happening Paulding County
Chris Lanham from Dallas “They walk like they drive. Everyone else are just in thier way and where they are going is more important than where you're going. It doesn't need to be said where its organizing from. We already know!”
Amanda Walters from Dallas “It’s abundantly apparent on this thread that people do not know the driving laws and they need to revisit that.”
Cory Hobgood from Atlanta “The amount of times I’ve been at the Hiram Walmart and people have yelled at me for some goofy reason in the parking lot is absurd. I’m really starting to think no one knows anything about anything, even me. “
Amy Marie from Dallas “People are looking at their phones and just about walk into traffic”
