  1. Man wanted on nearly 50 warrants leads state deputies on chase through 2 counties 

Tyler Dallas Cagle, a 33-year-old man from Tennessee with 48 outstanding warrants in North Carolina, led deputies on a chase through two Georgia counties. The chase began when Habersham County deputies noticed Cagle riding a black motorcycle with no working tag lights and using unconventional lighting. The pursuit reached speeds of up to 90 mph and covered several roads. Cagle lost control and slid onto wet grass, leading to his arrest. A palm oil plantation worker named Falmira De Jesus, 38, miraculously survived a crocodile attack while collecting water from a stream. The crocodile dragged her into a swamp, prompting her to fight back and call for help. Despite efforts by other workers who were too scared to enter the water, they used poles to eventually rescue her after about 90 minutes of struggle. De Jesus sustained severe injuries to her arms and legs and was taken to a hospital for treatment. A man from Georgia was arrested in Bay County, Florida, for breaking into a church, causing damage of around $8,000, attempting to steal electronics, and baptizing himself. The incident occurred at the Emerald Beach Church of God, where the man used a cinder block to break in. A female employee inside the church fled upon hearing the noise. The suspect, Derek Porter, damaged the church and took electronics and money. He claimed not to remember certain moments but recalled baptizing himself and feeling something hold his head underwater.
