Cobb police arrest 3 in 2019 disappearance of Paulding County woman
In 2019, Matilde Gonzalez, a Paulding County woman, went missing and was suspected to have been murdered. After a long investigation, police recently made a significant breakthrough. They arrested three suspects in connection with the case. Alejandra Castro, 41, was charged with malice murder, concealing a death, and cruelty to children. Samantha Vasquez, 20, was charged with malice murder, while Abel Castro, 45, was charged with concealing a death and cruelty to children. The arrests followed a search of a home in Paulding County by various law enforcement agencies. Despite the arrests, Gonzalez's body has not been found, and the investigation continues.
