CASA on the Catwalk is set to raise money for Georgia's Foster Kids

The Georgia Court Appointed Special advocates is holding "CASA on the Catwalk." This is their annual luncheon and fashion show to raise money to help support foster kids in Georgia. The fashion show will feature spring fashions from Tootsies, and there will be a variety of auction items, include tickets to Taylor Swift's Atlanta show. 

After debate and contention, the plans for the Veterans Memorial Park in Sandy Springs are going forward. While creating a memorial for veterans was supported by many, issues about the costs and features of the memorial raised concerns. 

Many of Northside's high school baseball teams have big goals for the 2023 season. The Weslyan Wolves are looking to win a title after moving up to AAA, while Lovett and Pace are ready for the challenges of AAAA.

Metro families can sign up for the Pound the Pavement for Peter 5k at the Capitol City Club in Brookhaven. This race will raise money to fight Peroxisomal disorders. 

And Phipps Plaza has officially opened the Green at Phipps plaza, and it has an interactive mural created by students, faculty, and alumni of SCAD.
